According to the American College of Surgeons, the number one cause of preventable death after a mass shooting or serious injury is uncontrolled bleeding.

STOP THE BLEED is an education training program to teach the public how to quickly apply first aid techniques to control bleeding in the event of a mass shooting and other emergency situations.

This skillset drastically improves the survivability of victims in a medical emergency where blood loss is the primary cause of death.
